No Seat, Double Backrest Bench

What is going on right now? Am I hallucinating? Is my whole life a lie?

I blinked a few times and pinched myself on the forearm, only to see it still standing in front of me. I’d like to introduce you all to the No Seat Double Backrest Bench. 13 panels of utter confusion, delivering the most unique sitting experience of my pro sitting career. Yes, it was comfy. Would I sit down here again? Absolutely. I’ll remember this one for the rest of my life.

After further research on this bench, I’ve found that it was created by an art student named Matthew Hincman. He put it out into the park as a joke. It took the city of Boston a week to notice it was there, and had it removed. Matthew was given a slap on the wrist, but did not give up hope on his U bench. The community loved it! In the end, Mathew got the bench approved to be returned to the park, and there it stands today.

So shoutout to Matthew Hincman. LEGEND in the bench community. What a treat
